Welcome back from summer vacations, we hope they were great! Now we are ready to kick-start an eventful season for the HBS Club of Italy, beginning with a truly special evening.

We are delighted to invite you to an extraordinary event with Ambassador Pietro Benassi, for an exciting discussion on the European Union’s role in today’s shifting geopolitical and economic landscape.

The conversation will explore Europe’s legal identity, economic challenges, and strategic positioning on the global stage, followed by an open Q&A session where participants can engage on any aspect of the current international scenario.

About the Guest

Ambassador Pietro Benassi has held some of the highest-ranking roles in Italian diplomacy. He served as Ambassador to Germany (2014–2018), then as Diplomatic Advisor to the Italian Prime Minister, and most recently as Permanent Representative of the Italian Government to the European Union, appointed by the Draghi Government. His distinguished career offers unique insights into European and global affairs.

Participation

Please note that the event is free for HBS Club of Italy members in good standing for 2025 (Renew your Membership). Alumni will also have the opportunity to pay the amount of €100 for the 2025 membership at the location of the event. Each attending member can bring one guest (please mention guest names when registering).

I understand that these photographs and/or videos may be used for promotional and informational purposes by the HBS Club of Italy, including but not limited to website content, social media posts, marketing materials, and press releases.

I acknowledge that my image may be captured in group shots or candid moments during the event, and I consent to the use of these images as described above without any compensation to me.

Furthermore, I release the HBS Club of Italy and its representatives from any liability arising from the use of these photographs and/or videos, including any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights.

I understood that if I do not wish to be photographed or videotaped during the event, it is my responsibility to notify the event organizers in advance and to avoid areas where photography and videography are taking place.
