This is a quarterly meeting for the Native Advisory Council through the ELD program. There has been a long history of non Native folks attending this council and benefiting from the leadership trainings so it is important for actual Native Native people to show up & access these opportunities. We need to be present & involved. El Pomar Elevating Leadership Development Program began in 2001 to help develop the wealth of diverse leadership potential within southern Colorado. The program identifies and encourages current and emerging ethnic minority leaders to embrace broad-based community involvement, civic engagement and service on boards and commissions. The program is a collaborative effort with El Pomar Foundation and the Center for Nonprofit Excellence.
These meetings are an effective way for nonprofit executives to cultivate and recruit for community leadership development programs, leadership skills workshops/training, volunteers and board members.
This is for folks who reside in El Paso County
