In-person class: Homemade Bao Buns (Chicago)

Led by our expert chef, you'll immerse yourself in the aromas and flavors of traditional and modern Bao Bun variations. Get ready to knead, and savor as we create these irresistible creations together. You will be guided through how to create a traditional pork filling. There will also a vegetarian option for those who prefer it. Whether you're a novice in the kitchen or a seasoned chef, join us for an evening of culinary adventure and the satisfaction of creating your own delicious Bao Buns.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don't already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who's happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Jaime's apartment. Jaime shares her home with 2 dogs. Though they will be in another room to themselves throughout the class, this class is not suitable to those allergic or afraid of dogs. Coffee and an assortment of teas will be provided for your enjoyment.
