In-Person Class: Handmade Dumpling Party (NYC)

Discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings!
Master the basics of dumpling wrapping in this fun and hands-on class! The instructor will demonstrate how to make dumpling dough from scratch. Guests will then form and make their own dough, which they will roll out, fill, and fold into various dumpling shapes during the class. Practice your knife skills and learn how to make your own fillings: Chicken Cabbage, and Edamame Shiitake. Finish cooking your dumplings through experimenting with both the steaming and pan frying methods. Guests will learn about our favorite resources in NYC for sourcing ingredients and basic equipment for dumpling making at home.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.

Guest requirement

Our classes are set up so that booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price but are available for purchase at the hotel bar for guests 21 and over. Outside drinks are not allowed.
