Join us for this hands-on cooking experience to master the Indian curry favorite, Chicken Tikka Masala.
Indian cooking is generally not attempted by many due to its complexity and use of many spices. However join us on this journey as we demystify this taboo and teach you just how simple Indian cooking can be!
In this hands-on class, you will learn the basics to sourcing and balancing herbs and spices and the art of refining the perfect Indian curry base. Chef will take you through a detailed demonstration, before you will be guided step-by-step in replicating how to use proper knife skills, temper spices & onions, and cook a traditional masala sauce.
Tikka Masala is celebrated for its fine balance of garlic, ginger, turmeric, garam masala, coriander, and cumin.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you wish to recreate these at home after the class. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting.
