In-Person Class: Asian Dumplings (Charlotte)

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to master the art of dumpling making!
In this fun and interactive class, you’ll learn the basics of dumpling wrapping, including how to create beautiful shapes like triangular and pleated crescents. Your chef instructor, Chef Rocky, will demonstrate how to craft your own wrappers and delicious fillings (vegetarian options are available).
You’ll practice essential knife skills, create two types of flavorful dumpling fillings—ground pork and scallion & veggie —and discover the techniques for both steaming and deep frying dumplings to perfection. To complement your creations, you’ll make a delicious dipping sauce. And, of course, the best part: enjoying the dumplings you’ve made!
During the class, you’ll also learn about the best resources in the CLT area for sourcing ingredients and basic equipment to continue your dumpling-making journey at home. All ingredients and equipment are provided and easy to find locally if you’d like to recreate the experience.
This class is perfect for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned cooking enthusiasts. Whether you want to dive into every step or take a more relaxed approach, you’ll enjoy a casual and engaging culinary experience.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in. You’ll be seated with your booking party and work together throughout the class, sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are not included in the ticket price but will be available for purchase at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed. 21+ only.
