In-person class:Anti Valentine's Day Cookie Decorating (Chicago)

"Because who needs Cupid when you’ve got cookies?

Whether you're single, “it’s complicated,” recently ghosted, or just allergic to overpriced roses, this Anti-Valentine’s cookie class is the perfect way to celebrate not celebrating.

Join us for a delightfully petty, sugar-filled evening where the only thing getting iced… is the cookies.

Our expert pastry chef instructor will guide you step-by-step through the art and science of cookie decorating. Each guest will receive 6 pre-baked cookies (2 broken hearts, 2 love hearts with a twist,” and 2 lips—interpret the symbolism however you’d like). You'll watch a demo on making royal icing from scratch, then learn decorating techniques including piping, flooding, wet-on-wet, and texturing. By the end, your cookies will look incredible—whether they say “Be Mine” or “No Thanks.”

Give your cookies to someone you kind of like, eat all six yourself, or gift them to an ex (we won’t judge). Whatever your vibe, you’ll enjoy a fun, hands-on experience perfect for food lovers, craft lovers, and Valentine’s Day haters alike.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don't already have them in your home kitchen. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who's happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Guests in the same booking party will work together throughout the class. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. To ensure the safety and enriching experience of all participants, we require children aged 14 to 17 be accompanied by a parent or guardian during our cooking classes. Classes are intended for adults 18+. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, however guests 21+ are invited to BYOB (beer, wine, and champagne only). There is a parking lot located on the south side of the building where the entrance is located, parking is approved and permitted on evenings of our classes!

Please note that late arrivals will not be admitted and the venue doors will automatically lock 15 minutes after the start time of class and chef will not be able to open doors as they are already in progress.
