In-person class: A Night in Stars Hallow: A Gilmore Girls Classic (Chicago)

Take a stroll through Stars Hollow Town Square and come walk on over to Luke's Diner for a deliciously fun hands-on Gilmore Girls experience where comfort food meets creativity! In this unique class, you’ll learn how to craft the perfect gourmet burger just like Luke would make for Rory and Lorelai when the day was tough and bake your very own Lorelai nostalgic, made-from-scratch Pop-Tarts.

Start by building your ultimate burger from the ground up — from seasoning and shaping the perfect patty to toasting the ideal bun and stacking your favorite toppings. Whether you prefer classic or bold flavor combinations, you’ll leave with pro tips to elevate any burger night at home.

Then, switch gears and satisfy your sweet tooth by making flaky, golden homemade Pop-Tarts filled with strawberry filling. You’ll also whip up a signature glaze and finish with a creative flair using sprinkles, drizzles, or a personal twist.

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don't already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who's happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Jaime's apartment. Chef Jaime shares her home with 2 small dogs weighing under 30 pound combined. Though they will be in another room to themselves throughout the class, this class is not suitable to those allergic or afraid of dogs. Guests are invited to BYOB (beer and wine only).

Though they will be in another room to themselves throughout the class, this class is not suitable to those allergic or afraid of dogs. Please be on time. The apartment is located on the first floor so it’s just a half flight up. You can ring the buzzer upon arrival or text the chef.
