In-Person Class: A Night in Mexico: Handmade Tacos & Fiesta Flavors (DC)

This is not your average taco night! From making fresh tortillas to searing juicy, flavorful cilantro-lime chicken, you’ll learn to create one of the most beloved dishes of all time—tacos!—completely from scratch. Perfect for a date night or a fun evening out with friends and family!
In this lively hands-on class, Chef Rachel will guide you through making flour tortillas (it’s easier than you think!). You’ll then build the most delicious tacos you’ve ever tasted—featuring cilantro-lime seared chicken, topped with fresh pico de gallo and crumbled queso fresco. Plus, you'll learn to prepare authentic Spanish rice to round out your meal. Your taco nights will never be the same once you've mastered these classics with an expert instructor.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as enjoyable for cooking enthusiasts who want to be involved in every step as it is for first-timers who prefer to observe and assist (or just taste-test).
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party, and guests in the same party will work together throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price but will be available for sale at the venue. Outside drinks are not allowed
