About this Event
This will be a special evening together, co-created through individual and group experiencing with active breathing.
Facilitated by Christy Doucette a licensed professional counselor, breathwork facilitator, yoga therapist, and yoga teacher, we will center the breath and body awareness through this practice.
We will dive deep into the power of breathwork to help you release stress, increase clarity, and connect with your inner self.
Autumn Season:
Autumn is a season to reflect & receive the growth you have experienced. It is also a time to surrender to & let go of what is no longer serving you. Step outside and look around. You may witness leaves changing. Leaves letting go. Becoming compost for new growth. So it is with our inner landscape.
What to Expect from the breath:
- We will use the breath to guide us inward. Inhaling to fill & receive. Then using the exhale to release and practice letting go.
- The breath can inform where there is tension, stress, and dis-ease within the body.
- We will breath actively and use movement and toning to facilitate further release and softening.
- Creating space for intuition and spirit through rest and integration.
Whether you're new to breathwork or a seasoned pro, this session is perfect for anyone looking to explore the transformative effects of conscious and active breathing. Don't miss out on this opportunity to nurture your mind, body, and spirit in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Active Breathwork:
The breath is a healing modality and breathwork a form of active meditation. It releases physical stress and tension, emotional blocks, and when used consciously and connected, can tap us into the unconscious realms. It brings us into the present moment, in connection with our intuition and with Spirit. In the present moment, true presence, is when we feel most at ease and able to access gratitude, peace, and joy.
