(IN-PERSON) Allies for Efficiency: Post-Occupancy Lessons from SERA and PAE
About this Event
You’re invited to an in-person Allies for Efficiency event on September 15. We’ll explore what happens after high-performance buildings are designed, built and occupied through two data-driven case studies: the PAE Living Building and Galleria.
Both buildings are occupied by members of the project teams involved in designing these cutting-edge structures, creating a unique opportunity to understand how design intent translates into daily use, building operations and long-term performance. Plus, earn 1.5 AIA/HSW credits and 1.5 BOC.
We’ll also explore how project teams can:
- Align systemcontrols and passive strategies with occupant expectations and behavior.
- Empower occupants and operators with monitoring tools and information for smooth ongoing building operation.
- Understand where commissioning ends and ongoing operations and maintenance begin.
- Use post-occupancy feedback, data and monitoring to improve operations.
In-person attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the SERA Architects Headquarters at the Galleria in downtown Portland following the training. We hope to see you there!
