About this Event

In Her Shoes is an interactive simulation that helps increase understanding of the experiences and challenges faced by survivors of domestic violence. Participants will step into the perspective of a woman navigating an abusive relationship and the complex barriers, decisions, and systems she encounters over time. The session will explore the impact of domestic violence as a community issue rather than a private matter, while highlighting the role that individuals and organizations across all sectors can play in supporting survivors and promoting prevention. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of survivor experiences, community responsibility, and the importance of collective action in creating safer, more supportive environments for those impacted by domestic violence.
