In Her Name: Art as Investigation
About this Event
Drawing from their experiences across painting, photography, fiber, film, and other creative practices, the panelists will explore creation as an investigative practice, one that uses imagination and storytelling to deepen our understanding of womanhood, identity, cultural memory, and the worlds we inhabit.
Together, the artists will discuss how creative work can become a tool for inquiry, helping us uncover personal truths, connect with inherited histories, and imagine new possibilities for ourselves and our communities.
The evening will begin with a guided walkthrough of the exhibition led by Dominique Swift, followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A.
Free and open to the public.
