In Good Company: STEAM Forward Mixer
About this Event
Building a thriving STEAM ecosystem for Black children on the Northside is bigger than any one organization, program, or idea. It takes a connected community of people investing in one another, sharing what we know, and building together.
The STEAM Forward Mixer is designed to create more space for those connections to develop and deepen. Throughout the evening, we’ll also share key insights emerging from STEAM Forward to date—offering ideas and learning that partners can carry into their own efforts across the North Minneapolis community.
Whether you are leading STEAM programming, supporting young people, building partnerships, developing new ideas, or simply want to be more connected to this work, we hope you’ll join us.
About STEAM Forward
STEAM Forward is focused on strengthening the conditions for Black-identifying youth in North Minneapolis to explore their interests, develop their gifts, and experience expansive opportunities across science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
STEAM Forward is one of the first direct investments to come out of Northside Forward, The Forum’s place-based plan for North Minneapolis, and it sits inside the plan’s cradle-to-career learning pillar.
