Continuum Vocal Ensemble invites you on a mesmerizing musical journey through the mysteries of dreams and their meanings.
An oasis from the dark and cold of St. Louis winter, you'll experience the awe-inspiring "Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine," Eric Whitacre’s 21st-century madrigal that soars with Da Vinci’s vision of flight. Then, be moved by John Tavener’s "Butterfly Dreams," a profound tapestry of texts spanning Chuang Tzu’s reflections, a Native American prayer, and the poignant voice of a young poet from Auschwitz. We'll also feature ethereal works by Ivo Antognini, Daniel Brinsmead, and Eric William Barnum.
