About this Event
An exquisite black-tie event to mark the beginning of Black History Month in Leicester.
The evening promises an air of sophistication and grandeur, featuring an illuminating talk by Professor Hakim Adi, the UK's first Black professor of history.
- Guests will be enchanted by live music by KZAM and
- Captivated by soulful poetry by Ty'rone Haughton
- The event will be fully catered with 3 course afro-caribbean flavour meals
Menu will include:
STARTER
1st Course: Pumpkin Soup with bread rolls and butter

1st Course: Melon and mango cocktail
MAIN COURSE: served with rice & peas, plain rice, roast potatoes , salad or coleslaw
2nd Course: Fried Chicken breast with a thyme and onion sauce

2nd Course: Delice of Salmon with escoveitch sauce or
OR
2nd Course: Vegetable Wellington with a mild curry sauce
All main courses are served with rice and peas, plain rice, roast potatoes, salad, coleslaw.
DESSERT
3rd Course: Rum and raisin cheesecake served with fresh cream
