A Public Law Q&A with Lord Reed, President of the UK Supreme Court
About this Event

After 28 years of service as a member of the senior judiciary, including six years as President of the UK Supreme Court, Lord Reed has announced his intention to demit office on the 10th of January 2027. At this public law Q&A chaired by Paul Reid KC, Lord Reed will reflect on his time on the bench; from his appointment as a member of the Court of Session in 1998, to his near fifteen years of service as a Supreme Court Justice.

This event is free of charge and is eligible for 1.5 hours of CPD. It will take place in person only.

Questions will be taken from the floor (time permitting), but with a view to including as many questions of interest as possible, please submit questions in advance to [email protected].

Doors open at 5.15pm. The event will start at 5.30pm and will conclude at 7.00pm, followed by a short drinks reception.
