Annie is the owner of The Bookshelf, an independent bookstore in beautiful downtown Thomasville, Georgia. She is also the host of From the Front Porch, the bookstore’s conversational podcast about books, small business, and life in the South.
In her first book, Ordinary Time: Lessons Learned While Staying Put, Annie talks about what it’s like to stay put, to live in a small town, and to become rooted and grounded in life-changing community. Annie challenges the idea that loud lives are the ones that matter most, reminding us that we don't have to leave the lives we have in order to have the lives of which we've always dreamed.
