His story began at the Conservatorium of Adelaide and from here he has gone on to work on many award winning films including; Charlie’s Country, Ten Canoes, Hotel Mumbai, Bad Boy Bubby and so many more. James has won many awards across his career including in December 2021 being presented with the CITY of ADELAIDE MERCURY AWARD – SOUTH AUSTRALIAN SCREEN AWARDS ‘ Lifetime Achievement in the South Australian Screen Industry’.
