this terrible miracle I mourn
and find joy in everyday
come consider this simple and complicated poem about living a life centered on survival
come curious. It’s a poetic experiment — part church service, part seance, part party, hosted by (me!) Bosede Ajibola Opetubo — and inspired by silent worship, healing circles, open mics and my Liberal Arts education
Queer BIPOC women + femmes are invited to speak, and be heard, through the words of Lucille Clifton. Everyone else is just there to listen, and witness
After we sit, we'll share, and then celebrate.
