After a hit job goes horribly wrong, a pair of mismatched Irish hitmen are sent to lie low in the wintry Belgian city of Bruges.
Before 2022’s The Banshees of Inisherin, Oscar-winning writer-director Martin McDonagh first cast Banshees co-stars Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell (alongside Ralph Fiennes as a weaselly gangland boss) in this typically tragicomic tale of a couple of contract killers holed up in Belgium over Christmas.
