Dearly beloved. We will be gathered at Spirit on August 2nd to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Prince's PURPLE RAIN and the music of 1984. Not all music played will be Prince, but it will all be from 1984 and it will get you on the floor and feeling good, courtesy of the original DJ MB. In honor of Prince's contributions to music education, we will be raising money for the Afro-American Music Institute in Homewood. Eighties and purple attire encouraged, dancing required. Let's go crazy! Tickets are $10 and are available first-come, first served at the door.
