"Originally a one man acoustic project identifying from Hamilton Ontario, In All Fairness (IAF) was simply a noted statement made from lead singer and primary song writer, Billy Ellis. After long-time pal Joshua Methner (the original guitarist, now bassist) joined the band, the duo went through a 3 year COVID squandered transformation.
After writing a full length album, IAF changed plans scrapping the album in hopes of turning into Ontarios most genre polarizing new pop-punk band. IAF identifies their sound as “emo-pop”. In the fall of 2022 they released their 2000’s emo reminiscent single “Secondary” - a song about putting other people first and getting burned in the aftermath of others actions.
After “Secondary” released, the band took some time to plan out their next steps. They teamed up with upcoming producer Ryan Fitzpatrick (ex-Bearings) to record a 4 song EP “Everyone Leaves” with the lead single “Blurry” that released October 10th, 2023. The members Brody Grummett (lead guitar), Sean O’Brien (rhythm guitar) and Ayden Cuke (drums) bring a new dynamic, pushing the bands first few steps into shaking up Ontarios alternative scene."
