We are excited to announce the IMU Invasion '25, sponsored by Ames Ford Performance! We heard you loud and clear, and due to popular demand, have added another full day to the schedule. The Invasion IX will be held the weekend of June 13-15th at the Cedar Falls Motorsports Park.Do your Mustang and yourself a favor by marking your calendars NOW! You will not want to miss the Midwest's LARGEST Mustang event.
***EVENT SCHEDULE***
Friday June 13th: No need to travel far, we are hosting the Official Kickoff Party at the Cedar Falls Motorsports Park. Nick and the team will be there signing autographs and taking selfies. Food, music and more on-site. We will create a separate event for this a few weeks out from the date.
Saturday June 14th: This is the BIG day at The Cedar Falls Motorsports Park Address: 7227 Waverly Rd, Cedar Falls, IA Join 700+ Mustangs for a massive cruise with meet spots in Eastern, Central and Western Iowa as we roll into the track.
Upon arriving at the track, enjoy drag racing all day and night. Love loud cars and burnouts? Take part in our burnout contest. Racing is only $50 per car and will be available for pre-sale in 2025. VIP passes will be available at a later date with some killer perks including early entry! There will be 3 tiered packages available for Mustangs to enjoy the day. We will have the area's top food trucks available, everything from hibachi to grilled cheese.
We will be running limited class racing later in the day starting at 6:00pm in addition to test n tune racing. Keep an eye out for details.
Central Iowa Meet Spot- Ames Ford Performance, 123 Airport Rd, Ames, IA 50010. We will be doing a Cars and Coffee event here from 8:00-10:00am. Rolling at 10:00 sharp. Coffee will be available on site!
Eastern Iowa Meet Spot- Hawkeye Downs Event Center, 4400 6th St SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. We will be doing a Cars and Coffee event here from 8:00-10:00am. Rolling at 10:00 sharp. We will have the Grind Coffee truck serving everything from iced coffees to lattes.
Gates open at 10:00. No one except volunteers and VIP will be allowed in before 10:00. After all the Mustangs are parked and settled, we are inviting all the local clubs and cars to enter the track for $20. All makes and models are welcome to race at noon.

Sunday June 15th- Back by popular demand- The Invasion Show & Shine.. All makes and models are encouraged to display starting at 10:00am We are limiting the number of entries to 200 so pre-register as soon as that drops. We will have awards for top 25 and Founders Favorite. This will be judged by the people, so make sure your ride is looking its best.
Show & Shine- Gates open at 10:00 and you must be registered by noon Awards- 2:30pm
FAQ
Trailer Parking- There will be trailer parking on the north end of the facility in the grass. Trailer parking is $20 without VIP or Racer Package
VIP Passes- We will have a limited number of VIP passes with some new perks. These will be available in Spring of 2025.
Who can attend the show and shine- All makes and models are encouraged to attend the show and shines.
What time do gates open- Gates open at 10am.
What time does racing start- Tech opens at 10am. Racing goes until 9pm. It is $50 per car no matter make or model. Racing for non-mustangs starts at noon.
Where's the meet spot in my town- Feel free to make your own cruise in spot. We have dedicated spots in major metros.
Room discounts- We are working with the Holiday Inn and will have 100+ rooms available at a special discount. Details to come.
Food- We have a dozen food trucks, concessions and multiple treat trucks.
