Improv’s Greatest Hits is a new label and fluid collective of musicians aiming to use
improvised music as a vehicle to mix musical
and social scenes. We’re excited to transfer
the ethos of eclectic lineups and introducing
new acts to an all dayer at THE CUBE ———!

comes to mind when thinking of musical improv,

flexible the medium can be .. from diy basement
to concert hall, structured to complete freeform,
self taught musician to trained ….... punk to jazz

collaborator. Their sound nests in the ‘melantronic’
subgenre, shaped by Bristol’s improvisation scene
and manifested in her introverted moments.

Laura Phillips is a Sagittarius, non-smoking artist who lives & works between Bedminster, Southmead,and Aberystwyth. She is a Bristolian artist working primarily in 16mm film. Phillips uses a mixture of photochemical processes, sounds and digital imagery and often makes work through conversation and collaboration. She makes films and plays waterphone in the audio-visual project Viridian Ensemble. She is best known for her time moping about the avant-garde artist space Brunswick Club and making Tik-Tok videos about kitchen utensils & alien abduction.

Otto Wild (they/he) is an artist focused on bluring the
line that sits between the realms of breakbeat techno
rave and the experimental sensibilities of noise,
industrial, punk and jazz. Working on a solo
project that sits in this limbo of genres, they also
feature in other projects such as jazz noir band Ex
Agent and have recently taken to bringing this same
intensity to the dancefloor with DJ sets
