We will keep things light and fun as we create: group numbers - solos - duets - 11th hour ditties and big closing numbers!
With some helpful lessons in narrative improv along the way!
BIO
Derek Miller is a 25 year veteran of America's most venerable improv schools and legacy teams.
He taught all levels at iO and Second City - coaching dozens of teams - developing new forms and playing with groups like the Armando Diaz Show - Bitter Noah - Trophy Wife - Opening Night: The Improvised musical! and Baby Wants Candy!
He has guest starred in tons of improv shows like The Crazy Uncle Joe Show at Groundlings and Diamond Lion at UCB. He has starred in television series on MTV, Comedy Central and TBS, he has popped up on Scrubs, Superstore, Goldbergs and has appeared in over 100 commercials!
In the U.K. he has run workshops in London at The Actors Centre and in Leeds. He works with The Mob theatre in Dublin where he currently directs the show Sneak Preview. He is on faculty at YAFTA, writes for Nickelodeon AND he wrote and starred in Monsternado which just wrapped in London!
