Innovative music imagined and created on the spot! Improvisations Now is a monthly series of concerts programmed by Joe Morris. Joe invites a diverse group of dynamic, innovative musicians, all important members of the global improvised music scene, and performs with them. The music is completely improvised. Every concert is different.
The 2024-2025 season begins on Sunday, September 22, 2024, and goes through May 4, 2025.
The first of the series will feature the remarkable Nicole Mitchell (flute) in duet with the ever-unpredictable Joe Morris (guitar). Music starts at 2:30 pm!
