Do you like the idea of piecing quilts improvisationally, but don’t really know where to start? Join Jenn for an inspiring and fun-filled workshop that is specifically designed to transform people who are “improv curious” into improv enthusiasts!
Many people who make quilts improvisationally use “prompts,” which are most easily described as "suggestions that get you moving in a particular artistic direction." They provide a starting point and an idea, but you are given the freedom to interpret prompts in any way you like. The prompts used in this class have been carefully crafted by Jenn to ease you into the world of improv quilt making one step at a time. As you work through each prompt you will gain the confidence to trust your own design choices as we alternate between focused skill-building exercises and relaxed "free sewing" time. This structure gives you the space to explore new ideas at your own pace.
As with all of Jenn’s classes, there will be sweet treats, random prize drawings, and lots of laughs. Come join the party!
