We are so excited to announce the amazing lineup of artists for our IMPROVISATION REIMAGINED # 3 EVENT.
This month features a Performance by EMILY BOWMAN and Respondants PHILIPA ROTHFIELD, TERESA DUDDY, SHESHTIN HONEY, REBECCA JENSEN and JESS DEVEREUX.
Improvisation Reimagined is a monthly event curated by Neil Thomas and Kevin Jeynes in the spirit of inquiry manifest in their Improvisors Podcast Series.
In this Series our intention is to promote an exploration into the many aspects and possibilities of improvisation in performance and life, and to inquire through performance, art making and shared reflection.
The event:
A featured artist/s will perform a 15-20 minute piece with an exploratory intention. Further artists will then sequentially improvise a response.
A mediated open conversation follows where the featured artist, the respondents and everybody present will have an opportunity to share their observations, reflections and questions.
We’d love you to join us in this evening of public co-inquiry.
Date: Sunday 5th July. 6.45pm (for 7pm start) - 8.30pm
Venue: The MIECAT Institute. 374 George st. Fitzroy
Cost: Free
