About this Event

What is this workshop about?

We are inviting people from Black African and Caribbean communities to take part in an important conversation about health and research. Researchers and GPs from Newcastle GP Services want to better understand health conditions affecting Black communities, improve treatments and care for the future, and make sure research reflects everyone.

Why get involved?

People from Black communities are often underrepresented in research studies. This means we may not fully understand how some conditions affect these communities, and treatments and tests may not work equally well for everyone.

By taking part, you can help change this.

Your voice matters. Help shape the future of Black health.

Run by by Oluwasolafunmi Abimbola (Newcastle Community champion) and Jodi Fitzsimmons-McCoy (NGPS research team)
