Amber is 1 of 3 saddle fitters in the US using a digital pad to measure the pressure of a saddle. These pads provide evidence & empirical data not only of saddle fit but also how the saddle fit influences movement (See link below for more info). Additionally, these pads can help indicate & detect subclinical lameness, if a saddle is broken, muscle asymmetries, saddle deformities, as well as if rider position is negatively influencing movement. 3 Part Clinic
1. Amber will discuss digital saddle fitting with demo riders in dressage & jumping
2. Erica will discuss how the horses' movements correlate to showing.
3. Guided Saddle Dissection - Yes! We are indeed taking boxcutter's to saddles! Please feel free to bring anything saddles of your own to cut apart. This will be a deep dive into the parts of the saddle, where those parts sit on the horse, and, thus influence movement.
All participants will receive a voucher for 10% off future saddle fittings scheduled on or by Jan 26th. All participants will also receive a voucher for 5% off for future saddle fittings scheduled after Jan 26th.
