8 Weeks of Class and a Live Reading

Saturdays 10 AM - 1 P M - 24 Classroom Hours and a Live Reading

This class will focus on grounded, 2 person, single location, improvised scenes to mine premises and create sketches. Taught by BETA's Founder, Jeromy Barber, we will work to create and develop a fully realized and polished sketch material. Many sections of the class will be taped.

If you've ever wanted to take your improv skills and create work to perform repeatedly, this class is for you. It's the heart of what BETA is all about.

All development, scripting, casting, and rehearsal will occur during class. All material for the class and show will be created in the class utilizing improv and table writing sessions. There's no need to come to class with already written material. No homework required.

The class develops content from week to week, so absences are highly discouraged, and repeated absences may lead to being dropped from the class without refund.

Anyone who has completed any Level 1 Improv class anywhere on the planet is welcome to register. All sketches will be designed to be shot on video.
