Check out our current lineup of Resident Improv Teams! Long-Form Improv inspired by a suggestion from the audience. Think of it as a sitcom made up on the spot with no commercials. Catch them before they're gone! These teams rotate every three months!

Forever Team

Forever Team is a long-form improv team that grew out of the training program at M.I.’s Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica California. They are currently coached by Chris Alvarado and were previously coached by Amanda Blake Davis.

Forever Team has appeared on numerous stages in the L.A.-area: UCB, Pack Theater, The Improv Space, The Fanatic Salon, The Clubhouse, The Glendale Room, and Acme Comedy Theater. They performed at the Wasatch Improv Festival in Utah and co-hosted a bi-weekly improv show called The Rocket Science Improv Show in Westwood. They are known for presenting emotionally honest characters in both realistic and fantastic situations.

On The Black Hand Side

On The Black Hand Side is comprised of Ashlei Théard, Mattia Day, and Patrick Rowland. They met while performing with the other teams, Rolland & Rowland, Chugga Chugga, and Homegirls In Outer Space. Their admiration and respect for one another led them to form “On The Black Hand Side”. Using an audience suggestion they will perform a monoscene which will take place in a single location in a single span of time where they’ll explore multiple characters, relationships, and the environment to hilarious results. Their style of play is unique as they can move fast and slow and patient at the same time“On The Black Hand Side” has performed separately and together at many theaters like UCB, iO, The Second City, Groundlings and M.i. Westside Comedy Theater.
