for writing - stand up - one person shows and auditions.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Derek Miller brings along 20 years of experience in Hollywood to Leeds. Derek began his acting career at the Second City in Chicago and took his talents to L.A. where he appeared in over eighty commercials and in series like Scrubs, Goldbergs and Superstore. He was a lead actor in the series’ Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central and The Wedding Band on TBS (now Amazon Prime.) Derek is currently a writer for "It's Pony" on Nickelodeon and wrote for NBC sketch alongside writers from "I Think You Should Leave" and "Key and Peele." He currently acts and performs in the U.K. and is a regular on the BAFTA nominated Steph's Packed Lunch on channel 4. He has taught and coached comedy for over two decades all over the world.
