Come play with us in our theater, and dip your toes into improv! You learn how to use scene work and group exercises to explore the joy of improvisation, be more confident, trusting and graceful on stage. Learn “Yes, and…!” until you have to say “No, thank you”. Focus on positive choices to initiate scenes, real-life and character monologues grounded in TRUTH! You’ll experience a safe, inviting environment for trying new things and taking a few risks. You’ll stretch your boundaries (just a bit, no pressure) while you meet some new people, explore improv’s life lessons, and generally have a great time. The class is the perfect starting place for those with zero improv experience or for those wanting to refresh their improv fundamentals.This class is for ages 18 and up. We require a minimum of 8 students to hold this class - if we do not reach the minimum, we will contact you and issue a refund or rescheduling the class.
We are holding this class on Monday evenings from 6 - 8 p.m. (except July 22 and August 5).
