About this Event

Improv 400 will continue to hone the skills of the more advanced improviser, integrating concepts learned in previous classes. The class will explore narrative and address individual strengths as well as areas that need improvement. Explore the use of the truthful monologue. Learn the value of relationship in scenes and how to move toward theatricality. Further your Improv with the chance to create “multi-level” scenes with deep and rich characters.  This class also performs in the showcase.

All students are required to be vaccinated to be in a UP class. Please have your proof of vaccination ready to show your instructor at your first class.

Dates: 8 Thursday classes  NOTE: Attendance at the first session of your course is mandatory as it sets the agenda for the entire quarter. If you think you will have to miss the first class, please consider registering for the next quarter.

Maximum Students: 12

Cost: $250 ($263.49 including booking fees)

Prerequisite: Improv 100, 200 and 300  or approval by Education Director

Ages: 18 and above

 **Cancellation policy: If you must cancel before the first class, we offer credit only towards a future class. We are unable to offer refunds. If you cancel after the first class we will not offer credit towards a future class. Again, we are unable to offer refunds.
