Recorded in December of 1964 at Rudy Van Gelder’s New Jersey studio with pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Jimmy Garrison and drummer Elvin Jones, John Coltrane’s seminal album A Love Supreme was released in February 1965 on Impulse!
