* Come create an impressionistic butterfly using torn Agave paper from Thailand and Kozo paper from the bark of the Mulberry tree!
* Kiera will take you step by step through the process of creating a one of kind piece of art. Using handmade paper, molding paste for sculpting ridges, real dried flowers, beads, and other magic embellishments to really make your piece special.
* No experience necessary - beginning creators encouraged
* All materials are provided - just ring yourself!
* Image is an example of what can be created.
Kiera Light is a mixed paper and plant fiber artist who enjoys teaching how natural fibers combined with other mixed media can create almost otherworldly art that anyone can successfully create. Kiera accepts commissions and her work is also available for sale at the Cottage in Nokomis.
Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artists need to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
