In the tradition of the great rock festivals of the 1980s, Ruth Eckerd Hall and WXGL – 107.3 The Eagle presents Imposters of Rock with Miles Schon’s Journey Experience featuring Rudy Cardenas, Slippery When Wet and Pitbull Toddler! Experience all the spectacle and energy of the biggest shows in classic rock history featuring some of the country’s best cover bands.
Miles Schon’s Journey Experience with Rudy Cardenas headlines the event and is the only Journey Tribute band in the world with direct lineage to the actual Journey Band. Miles Schon is the son of legendary Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Like his Dad, Miles plays guitar for the California based band while American Idol finalist Rudy Cardenas masters the soaring Steve Perry lead vocals better than anyone on the planet!
Slippery When Wet is the most requested Bon Jovi tribute band in the country! They formed in 2003 and have performed over 1800 shows to date. They are the only Bon Jovi Tribute authorized by Bon Jovi Management. Lead singer Jason Morey sets the bar for this stellar group and has appeared on The Tonight Show and Jimmy Fallon’s Clash of the Cover Bands and performed worldwide on the Legends in Concert Tours.
Pitbull Toddler was born out of the number one rated and most listened to morning radio show in Tampa Bay, The Mike Calta Show. With members of the show and friends playing the biggest stadium rock songs and the occasional Pop and Country hits, Pitbull Toddler is all about the PARTY!
Don't forget to arrive early for the Imposters of Rock Marketplace featuring Live Local Music, Authentic Signed Poster Auction featuring a wide variety of Performers, Specialty Vendors, food for purchase and more!
