Impact Monday - How Do We Expand Our Thinking for Sustainable Transitions

The world seems to be in an ever-increasing state of crisis, where it can be difficult to see how to move forward in a truly sustainable way. But there are ways forward that help set long-term direction, mobilizes people, and enables organizations to succeed with the sustainable transitions towards a greener and more socially balanced, healthy society.

In this talk, Christian Bason, PhD, Co-founder of Transition Collective in Copenhagen, will take departure in his recent book Expand: Stretching the Future by Design, co-authored with Jens Martin Skibsted, to inspire and engage the audience to think and act more expansively in the face of the emerging societal challenges.

He will suggest that the “expansions” of Time, Proximity, Life, Value, Dimensions and Sectors can help innovators and decision makers alike to find the new ambitious ideas they need — and realise them in practice.
