Let’s get our youth ready to thrive this school year!
Join Impact LA for a day of community, celebration, and support at our 7th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway — held in honor of Kobe Bryant (#8)
This FREE community event will provide over 2000+ youth with:
- 🎒 Backpacks filled with school supplies
- 🍽 Hot meals provided by Unity Meals (BBQ Hamburgers + Potato Wedges + Fruit)
- 🎨 Fun activity stations – face painting, horseback riding, art, games & more
- 🧠 Vital community resources – Free groceries, new clothing, diapers, health screenings & more

What does Kobe Day Mean to Us?
Kobe Bryant was more than a basketball legend, he was a fierce advocate for youth, known for his philanthropy through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, his support of cancer research, and his Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, which expanded access to sports for underserved youth.
Impact LA proudly continues this legacy with Kobe Day 2026, dedicated to uplifting the values Kobe represented: dedication, community, ambition, and love for youth.
