Impact Community Safety Summit featuring A Walk for Change

Join the Seattle Neighborhood Group and the Rainier Beach: A Beautiful Safe Place for Youth, initiative community partners for a day dedicated to the safety, healing, and unity of Rainier Beach. The 3rd Annual IMPACT Community Safety Summit & A Walk for Change is more than just an event—it is a powerful response to the challenges we face and a commitment to our collective future.

We are walking with purpose to highlight key safety areas, engage in the Litter Challenge, and connect with the local changemakers who are working tirelessly to build a stronger, safer Rainier Beach Neighborhood.

• 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM: Registration & Sign Making (Kick off the morning with creativity and community spirit!)
• 9:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Walk for Change (Walk, run, or bike the 2.5-mile "5 Pearls" route through Rainier Beach’s key safety areas.)
• 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Lunch & IMPACT Community Safety Summit (Join us inside the RBCC for a shared meal and solution-based dialogue.)

• The Walk: A 2.5-mile community journey through five critical areas in Rainier Beach to reclaim our space with peace and purpose.
• The Summit: Hear directly from leaders and organizations dedicated to protecting our neighborhood.
• Your Voice Matters: Participate in our Impact Safety Summit Survey to help shape the future of the Rainier Beach Neighborhood Safety Plan.
• Meet & Greet: Connect with the local forces behind community safety, from organizers to neighbors.
• Community Vibes: Enjoy local speakers, food, and music throughout the afternoon.

Whether you are a longtime resident or a community partner, your presence matters. This is your opportunity to be heard, to learn about the actionable steps being taken toward safety, and to meet the neighbors and organizations like Seattle Neighborhood Group, Fathers and Sons Together (FAST) and all the partner organizations of Rainier Beach: A Beautiful Safe Place for Youth that are invested in a thriving Rainier Beach.
