Impact Austin Fall Book Club: An Evening with Dr. Lisa Doggett

Our Fall Book Club will feature the memoir "Up the Down Escalator" by Dr. Lisa Doggett, and we are excited to announce that Dr. Doggett herself will be joining us!

Dinner: Pick up a meal from one of our local restaurants or bring your favorite dinner/snacks from home.
Drinks: We’ll provide a delicious summer cocktail, but feel free to bring any beverage of your choice.

"Up the Down Escalator" recounts Dr. Doggett’s journey from doctor to patient as she navigates life with multiple sclerosis while running a clinic for uninsured patients in central Austin. This inspiring memoir has received numerous awards and accolades, which you can learn more about here.
