About the Event:
Discovery Day is Impact Austin’s signature annual event designed to educate and engage our members and guests in advancing our mission and fostering community values. This year’s theme, “Strengthening Our Caring Collective to Better Serve Our Community,” focuses on trust-based philanthropy and creating alignment within our membership to deepen our collective impact.
Whether you're a member, guest, or prospective supporter, you'll leave feeling inspired and equipped to create meaningful change in our community.
What to Expect:
- Keynote Address:
Sierra Randall will deliver a powerful presentation on Strengthening Our Caring Collective to Better Serve Our Community. - Facilitated Discussions:
Interactive small-group conversations to foster collaboration and idea-sharing. - Panel Discussion:
Featuring Impact Austin members who are nonprofit professionals, sharing insights on cultivating trust among members and nonprofits. - Networking Opportunities:
Meet and connect with like-minded individuals over coffee, light refreshments, and an optional lunch gathering at Matt’s El Rancho.
Logistics:
Discovery Day will take place in person at St. Edward's University - Mabee Ballroom A&B. For Impact Austin members, access to Discovery Day is included in your membership. We welcome guests for a small fee of $25 to help cover our costs.
Parking:
St. Edward's charges $5 for onsite parking. After registering, you are welcome to complete parking payment and vehicle registration using the link in your confirmation email.
Post-event Lunch:
You are invited to participate in small group lunches at Matt's El Rancho after the event for discussion and networking. Lunch is not included in your registration fee. Indicate your interest during check out and our Member Connections team will be in touch with more details.
