Immortalized: The Art & History of Death Masks
Join BECHS and KMSU’s Bob Pavlenko (Here There Be Dragons) for a hands-on, three-hour keepsake workshop where you’ll dive into this dark, fascinating history and cast a likeness of your very own face.
What’s Included: All studio equipment, casting supplies, take-home finishing kits, and light refreshments.
Bring a Friend or Pair Up: Direct face-casting requires two people. Sign up with a buddy or be paired with a partner.
Important Requirements: Involves 30–45 minutes of direct face-casting (not suitable for individuals with claustrophobia). Facial piercings must be removed. Petroleum jelly will be used to protect skin and hair. Not recommended for individuals under 13.
Space is limited to 12 participants! (Minimum 8 required to hold the class). Advanced registration is required. $125 per person.
