About this Event
Working Women's History Project and Roosevelt University present Immigration: Hopes, Resilience and Challenges! Join us at the Gage Gallery at Roosevelt University for a thought-provoking discussion on the experiences of immigrants.
Moderating our panel is Shia Kapos, reporter for Politico and author of the Illinois Playbook. Our panelists are Xóchitl Bada, Professor of Latin American and Latino Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago; Dixon Romeo, Executive Director of Southside Together; and Sendy L. Soto, Chief Homelessness Officer, Office of the Mayor, City of Chicago.
Tickets are $25 for the general public if registered by March 12, $30 after that date. Registration closes March 17. Tickets are free for students (with current id card presented at event).
Light refreshments at 5:30 PM, followed by audience participation and panel discussion. See you there!
