IMMERSIVE ARGENTINE TANGO WEEKEND

Saturday & Sunday June 10-11, 2023 (Studio Louvre - Max 14 participants)

Welcome to our Immersive Argentine Tango weekend! This is designed for dancers who already have years of experience in other dance styles (Salsa Kizomba, Jazz, Ballroom, Ballet, …) and an understanding of their bodies, but who have very little or no knowledge of Argentine Tango.

Argentine Tango offers dancers a wealth of possibilities for self-expression and creativity, and the ability to improvise at any moment is a key feature of this dance style. With its intricate footwork, intricate partner dynamics, and subtle nuances, tango offers endless opportunities for exploration and personal growth.

Throughout the weekend, Melina and Yannick will guide you through the fundamentals of tango, including the distinctive embrace, footwork, and partner dynamics that are the hallmarks of this dance. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the cultural and historical context of tango, gaining a deeper understanding of this rich and vibrant art form.

Whether you are looking to expand your dance horizons, improve your social dancing skills, or simply have fun and meet new people, our immersive Argentine Tango weekend offers something for everyone. Join us and discover the joy and passion of Argentine Tango!

1:30 - 3 pm: Tango Essentials 2

Sunday - June 11

1 - 3 pm: Tango Movements for the Social Dancefloor

3:30 - 5 pm: Introduction to Milonga & Vals

REGISTRATIONS?

145$/person for 7 hours of workshops

It is necessary to register with a partner.
