Eunice Peterson, R.Psych., is a dedicated trauma integration specialist whose career centers on helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of trauma from both systemic and neurobiological perspectives. Her approach emphasizes holistic healing, considering the interplay of mind, emotions, body and soul. Peterson’s work involves addressing family of origin issues, maladaptive attachment strategies and residual trauma through a comprehensive lens. Additionally, she explores the integration of Trauma-informed care (TIC) principles into yoga teaching, drawing on concepts like Steven Porges’ Polyvagal Theory to facilitate nervous system regulation.
