Immersion are Malka Spigel and Colin Newman best known for their work with Minimal Compact and Wire. The duo’s work as Immersion provides an outlet for their ongoing fascination in crafting enthralling, unique musical soundscapes.
The project emerged in the early 1990s and has always prided itself on a diversity in approach and an ability to be both self-contained and a vehicle for collaboration. 1999’s Low Impact & 2018’s Sleepless cover very different aesthetics.
More recent work has seen Immersion collaborating with the likes of Tarwater, Laetitia Sadier, Ulrich Schnauss , Scanner, Thor Harris, Cubzoa in their ongoing Nanocluster series of events & albums

They will be joined by drummer Matt Schulz (Holy Fuck, Savak, Lake Ruth, Enon, Pinback, Les Savy Fav, Fred Armisen, The Boggs, School of Seven Bells) for their show at Café OTO, this will be the only show on this tour with this lineup so will be a special one.
