About : Michelle is the author of the beloved Henrietta & Inspector Howard series, The Fallen Woman's Daughter, and The Merriweather Novels. She also writes "Novel Notes of Local Lore," a popular weekly blog chronicling the lives of Chicago's forgotten residents.
